How To Use

• You can pick up the real ticket at the ticket gate with your reservation number or QR code and passport.
• The validity period for exchanging a voucher for a real ticket is 90 days from the date of purchase.
• A rail pass user must be holding a passport issued by a foreign government.
• A rail pass user must be entering in Japan as a "Temporary Visitor". "Temporary Visitor" is a status of residence defined under Japanese immigration law.

Guidance on how to receive

• Please go to green ticket-vending machines and pick up physical ticket by scanning QR code of e-ticket and non-Japanese passport. (Operation menus of machine can be displayed in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, or Korean.)
• Please use it after exchanging the physical ticket at the ticket machine. - How to exchange tickets 
• Please prepare your passport and mobile voucher QR code
• Please select a language from the top menu of the ticketing machine 
• Select Receive reserved ticket
• Select [Exchange to Japan Pass]
• Select pass start date and agree to personal information, scan passport
• Exchanging reserved seat tickets: before getting on the train, please go to green ticket-vending machines and pick up physical reserved seat tickets by the area pass. For more information about exchanging reserved seat tickets, please click the link.

※If the machine breaks down or the passport have no IC chip, please proceed to JR-WEST Ticket Office to exchange physical ticket.

Must read 

• If you start using the ticket after issuing a forfeited ticket, there is no refund even if the train is not in operation.
• Those with short-term stay status can purchase it, but those with long-term stay cannot.
• Tickets can be issued only at ticket vending machines with the 5689 mark.
• If it is not an e-passport, it is not possible to scan the ticket machine, so please check before purchase.
• If the ticket issuing machine is defective or there is no IC chip in your passport, please go to the counter (Midori no Madoguchi) at the designated station to pick up your physical ticket.
• Available on consecutive days only. (Ex. January 1st ~ January 3rd, not available for 3 days every other day)
• If you use it for the first time at 18:00 on the 1st, it is 1 day until 23:59 on the 1st. ( 1 day as a non-24-hour day. )
